Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort. Our villa was gorgeous, high end, well designed and stylish, and very comfortable. We lived in our private pool which was a great size and well maintained by staff on a daily basis. The villa provided filtered water and there was a good washing machine. Unfortunately there was no toaster.The villa was in a lovely setting, within a short walk to the main resort area. Each villa was incredibly private and had good security.The restaurant was well designed and offered a good range in the menu. Breakfasts were delicious, again providing a good range of Asian and English dishes. They offered soy milk, which was a bonus! Staff were lovely, couldn’t do enough to assist. Anything that went wrong was attended to immediately.They have a shuttle to and from the airport. We didn’t realise this when we arrived as there didn’t seem to be anything on their website, but we certainly availed ourselves of it when leaving.The place is about 800m to the beach. You catch one of their buggies to the beach sister club which is beside the beach. The club was nice and the beach looked good with lots of sand, loungers, umbrellas and clear water, but we didn’t swim there.

The resort did not provide passport protected wifi so we had to rely on our eSIM for connectivity.Their mini market could provide a better range to give more choice of food. A toaster in the villa and a sandwich maker would allow guests to make a quick meal.

This place is amazing! Staff is really friendly their service is really good. They are quick and make it work. They have this shuttle bus/car which brings you to the their private beach every hour.

More chairs and beds at the beach would be nice.

We absolutely loved our spacious villa with a beautiful pool. The whole resort was very spacious, well thought out with lots of different aspects of the gardens and communal pools and public spaces.

The property felt like it was in the middle of nowhere so getting into some mode of transport made it a bit tedious and not much else to do outside the resort.

It had a nice pool and the villas were nice. The nightly fire show was great for the kids. Kids club had activities but you had to pay for it. Fish feeding was great. Smaller resort compared to others so much quieter around the pool etc.

Restaurant was very average - kept having buffet every few nights we were there. Not close to beach - only hourly shuttle service (should run this whenever guests wants it) - any other 5 star resort would do this. For the same price - you can go to another resort which has more kid friendly activities like water slides and beach front etc so we didn’t feel like it was value for money at all. Even though it was a smaller resort - breakfast is very busy. Some of the things in the villa is also not working well - e.g bathroom door - the villas were little dated. Also they charge $15 for a broken water cup. we’ve never ever been charged for accidental breakages in any 5 star resorts so I think that pretty much sums up this resorts service approach.

Breakfast choice are great. Some of the staff are good, especially those who work in the restaurant.

Check-in time are supposed to be at 3pm, but when we arrive at the resort at 3pm, the villa is not ready yet. The villas are not friendly-use to elderly. There's no room downstairs, all the rooms are upstairs. However, in booking.com it mentioned that they do have sofa bed in the living room, but when we asked the reception, there's no sofa bed at all. We went to the beach, but the staff over there chase us away, it's kinda rude.

Everything was perfect. The pool, staff and facilities were amazing and cannot recommend more. Make sure you book advance for the airport shuttle as we gave them little notice for airport transfer. The staff were very apologetic and gifted us with a fruit platter to make up for it.

Love the sailing club. This hotel is of a very high standard! Staff are amazing, super accommodating and it has a real family feel to it. This year the food has been elevated to a higher level and the new head chef (Leroy) was amazing. Attentive and really want to ensure that we were looked after. Extremely dog friendly! A little dog bowl with biscuits and a dog bed welcomed our pooch.

The location is quite far from everything. The Marina was very quiet area with not much around to see or do. You can get a car to long beach but it’s 20 mins away. The food & drinks at the restaurant expensive for Vietnam. They also played the same Christmas music on rotation around the pool for 4 days which made it hard to relax.

My boyfriend and i really enjoyed our stay here, it was our home for 6 nights. Everything was amazing - service, food, amenities, comfort of the villa etc. I really liked how communication with the staff could be done through an application. they were very prompt with their replies and accommodating to our requests too. We could even request for buggy service from the main lobby to and from our villa, something we really appreciated when it was raining or when we were carrying many things. The villa we stayed in was huge, comfortable and amazing, we especially loved the sunken living room. Huge thank you to the friendly service crew, really gonna miss this place and hope to be back here someday.

The addition of Netflix would have made our experience perfect. But despite the absence of it, there were many channels that were available so no complaints on that front. Other than that, we loved everything else here.

Excellent service throughout our stay. Everything was very clean and the resort was taken care of. The food was consistently fresh and delicious too. One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at.

Perfect resort to unwind at after travelling Vietnam for 3 weeks on our honeymoon. The facilities of the resort were amazing and the staff were unbelievable - they couldn't do enough for you. If we ever come back to Vietnam we would definitely stay here again!

Only thing we would change is having to wait 3 weeks for our deposit to be refunded back to us. Other than that, absolutely nothing!

The sailing club is really an amazing hotel. Even though I’m not a fan of big hotels with a lot of people, I must admit that you did notice that while being in the villa. The villa itself is very private, spacious, modern and clean!

A bit expensive.

In villa pool was amazing, private and nicely shaded. Villa itself was comfortable, well equiped and tastefully decorated. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Grounds / gardens were really pretty and well maintained.

Villa wasn’t properly cleaned, particularly the shower where there was a lot of mould. Front desk and restaurant staff weren’t overly helpful or hospitable. Very few staff spoke English so was a little tricky to communicate (we understand that we’re in a foreign country however). Food at the restaurant was very disappointing, including the buffet breakfast which lacked quality and felt cheap. Could not access / download any apps such as Netflix on the in villa tv. Check in and check out experience was rather annoying and time consuming so factor this in if you have somewhere to be.
